The 79.95-metre Feadship 714 yacht Faith has been spotted on her sea trials close to Scheveningen, following her transit through the Netherlands earlier this month in preparation for her final delivery.

The yacht made headlines across the country when she was spotted leaving Aalsmeer and passing through Woubrugge in the Netherlands on 19 March. Displaying a sleek and modern profile, the gentlemen's yacht features exterior design penned by the UK-based studio RWD, with naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects.

Faith displays a streamlined silhouette, underlined by a traditional blue hull and coupled with extensive windows. Construction on the Feadship 714 yacht began in 2021, with the yacht seen for the first time in October 2023 at the SLOB facility in Papendrecht, when her hull was launched.

Faith was launched earlier this year from the Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands and boasts interiors by Chahan Interior Design. With an estimated volume of 2,500 GT, Faith is due to be delivered to her owner later this year upon completion of her sea trials.

Faith showcases cutting-edge technology with a propulsion system developed through the Feadship Advanced Electrical Drive (FAED) program. Her diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system builds upon the platform used for Obsidian, with 4.5 times the electrical storage capacity of Feadship's first hybrid yacht Savannah.

Her propulsion and steering are delivered by two contra-rotating thrusters, which eliminate the need for traditional drive shafts and rudders, significantly reducing drag and enhancing efficiency. The result uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to fine-tune her pods and propellers, ensuring minimal vibration and maximum comfort for guests onboard.

According to SuperYacht iQ, Feadship currently has over a dozen yachts in-build, including the 101-metre Feadship 1013 yacht Moonrise which was launched earlier this month and the 100-metre Feadship 824, which is expected to be launched later this year.
