136m Lürssen superyacht Flying Fox returns to the charter market amidst ongoing US restrictions
Bluewater Yachting has announced that the iconic 136-metre Lürssen superyacht Flying Fox has returned to the charter market.
Often referred to as the market's largest and most iconic vessel, Flying Fox is now available for charter via Bluewater Yachting Dubai. "With immense pride, we are proud to announce that Flying Fox, the epitome of grandeur in the superyacht realm, is now back on the charter market," explained Bluewater Yachting.
Flying Fox is still sanctioned by the US, due to her previous management, however the owner is not and has not been sanctioned. She is currently unavailable for charter to US citizens and in US waters, but has no restrictions for UK and EU citizens.
Built by Lürssen and delivered in 2019, the 9,022 GT superyacht was envisioned by Espen Øino, with the opulent interiors curated by Mark Berryman, featuring a palette of neutral tones and plush fabrics.
The entire atmosphere onboard Flying Fox is enhanced through the use of greenery. With towering ficus trees and planters, the contemporary and neutral colour palette and natural textures create a warm and relaxing ambience.
Flying Fox can comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests across 11 staterooms. Her master suite is situated on the upper deck and includes a beauty room, his-and-hers dressing rooms, a private office, fireplace and a private Jacuzzi.
Her remaining guest staterooms consist of 10 VIP suites, all with their own balcony, office, bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, with two of the suites operating as convertible twins. Flying Fox can also sleep a crew of 55.
Some of the key features onboard Flying Fox include a 400 square metre, two-floor spa, with the first cryotherapy chamber ever installed on a yacht. She is also equipped with a 12-metre swimming pool, dual helipads and a 'wet massage room'.
